Family

When you are so far away from home and phone calls seem to be near impossible, and the only means of communication is email - it just plain stinks. It's not so easy to jump on a plane and fly to Vancouver. You don't get to click your heals and say "there's no place like home" and just arrive there. There are times when you just wish you could be with your family, not just for you but for them too.

I constantly ask myself, "What am I gaining by living here?"
The answers are many. I could go on and on. I am gaining so much by living here. Personally, mentally, spiritually. The list would go on and on. I'm learning so much and am experiencing things I never would have dreamed of.

But at the same time as asking the above question, you also ask "what am I missing by living here?"
Again, the answers are many. One can't even make a pros and cons list to look at the two questions. They are incomparable.

For all of those reading this, please say a prayer for my Uncle Lawson, who now lies in peace. And say a prayer for our family.

There's no place like home.
There's no place like home.
There's no place like home.

Home's not quite the same without you. We would love to click our heels and bring you home for a visit. I'm sorry my call got cut short, our phone card said 126 minutes....i think it meant seconds!!! We will try to call you again very soon.

I think it's amazing that you are taking advantage of the opportunities that you have while you've been in thailand. You're very brave taking on this adventure and we're proud of you. I hope you are having a nice vacation and enjoy your time away from school. Talk soon. Miss & Love you.

Hello Teresa! It sounds like you are indeed having a grand adventure! I'll have to show Liam and Sean your blog, they LOVE adventures! Sean would also appreciate the Wizard of Oz reference...it is his favourite movie and he often acts it out..all parts BTW!
It is 24 degrees outside the walls of the TCA. I will, soon, be dragging everyone outside to participate in the City of Toronto's 20-Minute Makeover...yeah, we're picking up garbage not going to the spa. I can hear Neil brewing a pot of coffee next door...perhaps he'll be supervising, hahahaha, City Workers! It's not really too messy out there...except for the doggie doo...which has all appeared since the mounds and mounds of snow melted..YECH. Darn condo owners!! Pim has assured me he will be taking care of the doo. Again, YECH.
My Fair Lady opens here in a couple of weeks...your should see the front of the building! It's MFL-o-rama!
I think of you often Teresa. The BO is a much more positive environment now, and you, as far as I'm concerned, played a part in that.
Take care and continue living life to the fullest!
